Journalist K.G. Parameswaran Nair passes away

Noted journalist K.G. Parameswaran Nair passed away here on Wednesday.

A journalist with the Kerala Kaumudi for 35 years, he has written several books including Kerala Niyamasabha Charithravum Dharmavum'. He was also honoured by the Assembly for his long tenure as an Assembly correspondent.

He has received awards such as the Swadeshabhimani-Kesari Award, the Pattom Thanupillai Award and the K.C. Sebastian Award from the State government.
