The 97th birth anniversary of Kannada icon Rajkumar was celebrated with reverence across Kalyana Karnataka on Friday, with district administrations, cultural organisations and admirers organising commemorative events highlighting his contributions to cinema, society and Kannada language.

In Kalaburagi, MLA Allamaprabhu Patil described Rajkumar as a symbol of Kannada identity and cultural pride.
