'Karuppu' starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan has been granted a special permission for its shows from the Tamil Nadu government ahead of its grand theatrical release on May 14. The announcement has created huge excitement among fans who have been eagerly waiting for the film.

‘Karuppu’ gets two-day special show permission in Tamil Nadu

According to the official government order, the makers had requested permission to screen special shows for the film on May 14 and May 15. After reviewing the request, the Tamil Nadu government approved special screenings for both days under the theatre regulation rules.

The order allows theatres to screen the film from 9 AM until 2 AM the following day, with a maximum of five shows per day. In addition, theatre managers are being asked to take all safety precautions, crowd management techniques, and traffic regulations into account.
