Land grievances will be fast-tracked: Vizianagaram Collector

Vizianagaram Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy on Monday said that the government is giving top priority to resolve land grievances in a time-bound manner with the support of revenue clinics established at the Collector’s office and Mandal Revenue offices in the district. Along with Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan, the Collector received petitions from the public and asked the officials to ensure timely service to the people coming from different parts of the district.

“All the concerned revenue officials and surveyors will be available at the respective mandal offices to listen to land related grievances. Mutation, issuance of pattadar passbooks and other issues will be resolved at the earliest,” he added. The Collector also asked people to dial the toll-free government number 1100 to know the status of their petitions. He also announced that he would soon begin inspecting revenue offices in a phased manner and would review the functioning of the revenue clinics.
