Lat Mandal, Wife And Son Found Dead In Assam's Sipajhar, Murder-Suicide Suspected

A chilling incident has shaken Narikoli under Sipajhar in Assam’s Darrang district, where three members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstances. According to a report by Pratidin Time, the deceased have been identified as Deepak Nath (52), his wife Pratima Nath (42), and their 12-year-old son, Dhritiraj.

Deepak Nath, a Lat Mandal known locally for his social work and active role in community affairs, was discovered lying in the courtyard, the report mentioned. However, the exact cause of death for all three family members remains unclear.

Relatives have managed to retrieve Deepak Nath's mobile phone and dagger from the crime scene. According to some reports, authorities suspect that Deepak Nath may have jumped from the building after fatally attacking his son and wife.

The dagger used in the murder displayed clear blood stains, indicating its role in the crime.
