‘Lenin’ release: Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse starrer release date in doubt? Valentine’s Day poster hint

Akhil Akkineni will be seen in the upcoming village romance action drama, ‘Lenin’, starring alongside Bhagyashri Borse, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. The movie has been in production for a long time and fans have been eagerly waiting for the film to hit the big screens soon.

Although the makers have revealed that it will be released on May 1, 2026, the recently released poster by the makers has led fans to question if the film will actually come out on the announced date.

Missing release date sparks fan reactions

The makers of Valentine’s Day shared a new poster of the film, where the leading pair is captured enjoying a joyous cycle ride in the middle of the farm. However, what grabbed the fans' attention was that the poster or the post did not include the release date, which can be seen in the earlier released posters.

Sharing the poster they wrote, “Vennelalle untaadhi prema. Vanne challethundhoi ee seema. With love from Lenin & Bharathi. Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine’s Day!”

Fans’ reaction

In the comment section, fans can be seen posting that the release date in the post is missing. A user wrote, “We want #LeninOnMay1st Tag line , don't miss the date”, another fan wrote, “We want MAY 1st on release date.” and another user added that they seemed to have changed the release date yet again, “Release date lepesaad ra veedu......”

A netizen also requested actor to release on the already announced date, they wrote, “May 1st release kavali @AkhilAkkineni8 anna plz.

”Earlier, the film’s female lead was announced to be Sreeleela, however, she took an exit and later Bhagyashri Borse joined.The music is composed by Thaman. Earlier, a single from the movie called ‘VaareVaa VaareVaa’ was released, which received a positive response. It is sang by Jubin Nautiyal and Shwetha Mohan.
