Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton had a memorable weekend both on and off the racetrack. The Formula 1 legend celebrated a major Hollywood success after the racing drama F1, a film he helped produce, won the Best Sound award at the Academy Awards on Sunday night. The movie stars Brad Pitt and Damson Idris and brings the intensity of Formula 1 racing to the big screen.Hamilton was closely involved in the project behind the camera as well. In addition to serving as a producer and making a short appearance in the film, he worked alongside famous composer Hans Zimmer to help develop the movie’s music and sound elements. The Oscar win was a major milestone for the film and everyone who worked on it. However, Hamilton could not travel to Los Angeles for the ceremony. He celebrated the achievement online and praised the entire team for their success.

He thanked director Joe Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the Plan B production company, Hamilton, Formula One, and Apple for backing what he described as an exciting cinematic journey.Hamilton quickly responded to the news on social media. He congratulated the entire team and celebrated the achievement, praising everyone who worked on the film. He wrote, “major congratulations to the team”.Hamilton had more than one reason to celebrate over the weekend.
The Ferrari driver also produced a strong display at the Chinese Grand Prix, where he finished in third place. The result marked his first podium finish since moving to the iconic Italian team.After the race, Hamilton said the event was among the most enjoyable races he had taken part in for a long time. He added that the close and respectful wheel-to-wheel battles made the contest thrilling and represented the type of racing that both drivers and fans enjoy watching.Because of the Grand Prix schedule, Hamilton was unable to attend the Oscars ceremony in person.
