New Delhi,UPDATED: Apr 6, 2026 10:00 IST

Arvind Kejriwal HC Hearing Live Updates: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is set to personally argue his case before the Delhi High Court on Monday in connection with the alleged excise policy scam, the Aam Aadmi Party said. The party added that Kejriwal, along with other accused, has filed a plea seeking the recusal of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma from hearing the matter. The application comes in response to the Enforcement Directorate's petition challenging a trial court order that had acquitted Kejriwal and others in a case linked to alleged non-compliance with summons during the liquor policy probe. In its January 22 ruling, the Rouse Avenue Court had cleared Kejriwal of all the charges, noting that the central probe agency failed to prove any deliberate disobedience of its summons.
