The teenager defeated James Wade in the UK Open final with an 11–7 victory, according to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) results.The win earned Littler the £120,000 champion prize and also placed his name among some of the biggest figures in darts history. With the victory, Littler became only the fourth player to defend the UK Open title, joining legends such as Raymond van Barneveld, Phil Taylor, and Michael van Gerwen, according to records published by the PDC.
