District Collector G. Rajakumari offered prayers at the famous Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam of Nandyal district on Friday (February 13, 2026). She joined the free darshan queue along with common devotees and completed the darshan in about 20 minutes.

The Collector inspected arrangements in the queue lines, including crowd management, security, drinking water supply, sanitation, and medical services on the eve of Mahasivaratri festivities. She instructed officials to ensure uninterrupted drinking water, maintain strict hygiene standards, and strengthen coordination among departments to prevent inconvenience to pilgrims.

Interacting with devotees waiting in the queues, the Collector inquired about difficulties faced by them and instructed officials to take immediate corrective steps wherever required. She stressed that priority should be given to facilitating smooth and timely darshan for common devotees through efficient management of free queues.

After the darshan, the Collector visited the laddu prasadam counters, stood in the queue, and examined the token system and distribution process. She reviewed the supply mechanism to ensure transparency and timely delivery of prasadam to pilgrims.

Later, she joined devotees at the annadanam hall, sat in the common dining line, and partook in the prasadam. She assessed food quality, cleanliness, serving practices, and overall arrangements, and sought feedback from pilgrims on the facilities provided.
