Man, his parents arrested for allegedly abetting woman’s suicide

The Kadapa district police have arrested a man and his parents for allegedly abetting the suicide of his bride-to-be. Based on a complaint, the Chinna Chowk police took into custody M. Veeraiah, M. Waheeda, and their son, Bengaluru-based IT professional M. Shah Jahan.

Rehana (26), and Shah Jahan were engaged in February this year. However, Shah Jahan, started pressurising Rehana’s family to call off the wedding, without any valid reason.
