Minister calls for grand Kanakagiri Utsav starting May 16

Preparations for organising Kanakagiri Utsav 2026 began on Tuesday with district in-charge and Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and Kannada and Culture Shivaraj S. Tangadagi directing officials to make it a grand event.

Chairing a preparatory meeting on the premises of the Sri Kanakachalapati temple in Kanakagiri town, the Minister reviewed arrangements and sought suggestions from the public on how to conduct the annual event.
