Minister for Endowments Anam Ramarayana Reddy has extended warm wishes on the occasion of ‘Mahasivaratri’ festival to the devout Hindus, on behalf of the State government.

The Minister worshipped at Sri Kamakshi Sametha Sangameswara Swamy temple in his Atmakur constituency and performed special prayers.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the NDA Alliance regime had left no stone unturned to ensure smooth conduct of the Mahasivaratri festival in a grand manner, recalling the advanced planning and review meetings to ensure compliance of deadlines.

“Utmost priority was accorded to the common devotees by not only making elaborate arrangements at the various temples, but also by bringing down the waiting time in Srisailam, Kotappakonda, Srikalahasti, Draksharamam and other major Saivite shrines,” he said.

Mr. Reddy expressed the hope that the Almighty would shower His blessings on the government that is committed to take the State forward on the development and welfare fronts.
