The Madhya Pradesh government has written to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking a probe into the Twisha case, amid growing attention surrounding the matter. The development comes ahead of a hearing in the case scheduled for today at the Madhya Pradesh High Court in Jabalpur.
According to sources, the state government will support the victim’s family during the proceedings. Madhya Pradesh Advocate General is expected to appear on behalf of the state government before the court.
The Central Government will also be represented during the hearing, with the Solicitor General appearing in the matter.
