Mumbai rains: Andheri subway shut after waterlogging; Versova records 69mm

MUMBAI: Rain lashed several parts of Mumbai on Wednesday morningThe Andheri subway was closed to traffic at 7.40am due to water accumulation.Mumbai recorded 0.96mm of rainfall in the island city, 9.84mm in the western suburbs and 1.25mm in the eastern suburbs between 7am and 8am.In the western suburbs, Versova recorded 69mm of rainfall, followed by Vile Parle (52mm), Andheri East (49mm), Andheri West (46mm), Vile Parle (33mm) and Santacruz (30mm). In the eastern suburbs, Chembur recorded 12mm of rainfall.
