Dr. Abhijat Chandrakant Sheth, chairman of National Medical Commission (NMC) of India, lauded the TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS University) for extending services to the public, besides offering pioneering medical education and research.

Taking part as the chief guest at the 14th convocation of SVIMS University here on Friday (April 24, 2026), he urged the graduating students to realise their dreams and called it a ‘crucial milestone’ in their lives. He advised them to seize every opportunity to reach out to society and provide the best possible service to the poor.
