NTR birth anniversary observed at Vizag Collectorate

The birth anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was observed at the Visakhapatnam Collectorate on Thursday. Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mr. Rama Rao at a programme held in the Collectorate meeting hall.

District Revenue Officer M. Visweswara Naidu, Tourism Officer Madhavi, DRDA project director Lakshmipati and other officials also paid tributes.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vidyadhari recalled NTR’s contribution to public service and welfare programmes. She said that his role in enhancing the self-respect of Telugu people remained significant. Officials and staff from various departments attended the programme.
