He is recovering fast. Govt has assured financial help for his treatment, and we will also extend support if needed,” he said. The temple management said it has contacted the Rajasthan-based mason handling the project. “Work began around three and a half years ago, but the outer structure is still incomplete. The mason was busy with bigger projects and ignored our pending work. He has now assured to resume work in the next two days,” Shivendra Maharaj said. The administration has moved to prevent further risk. Entry of devotees into the structure has been banned, and a structural audit has been ordered to assess safety lapses that could have led to the collapse. The tragedy drew responses from top leadership.
