‘Peddi’ director Buchi Babu Sana praises Ram Charan during car ride ahead of trailer release: ‘He kept stardom aside’

Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Peddi’ directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, is set to release in theatres on June 4 and ahead of its release, the makers will be sharing the trailer on May 18.

Recently, the director shared a video with the actor, where both are seen enjoying a peaceful drive together in a car to ease out after a busy schedule.

In the clip, Buchi Babu Sana became emotional while speaking about the movie and the hard work behind it. He said, “Peddi is going to be amazing. Me, Charan sir and the entire team, worked with all our hearts on this film. The main focus was always the story. Even though Charan sir is such a huge star hero, he kept all that aside and said yes to the story.

Trailer reveal in Mumbai

The makers are now getting ready for the grand trailer launch event of the film on May 18 in Mumbai. While sharing the update, the makers wrote, “MUMBAAAIIIII, Remember his name #PEDDI, he is coming.”Earlier, the event was planned to be held in Bhopal. The team will reportedly shoot a special song there and later hold a huge musical celebration in Bhopal.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ is a sports action drama that features Ram Charan, involving primarily two sports, including cricket and wrestling. The movie also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Boman Irani among others.The film was first planned for a March release and later moved again before finally locking June 4, 2026, as the official worldwide release date. The premiere shows are planned for June 3. It will be released in multiple languages.
