Rajiv Gandhi remembered on 35th death anniversary

Srikakulam District Congress Committee president Sanapala Annaji Rao recalled late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi contribution to the nation on his 35th death anniversary on Thursday. He paid tributes to a portrait of Rajiv Gandhi at Indira Vignan Bhavan in Srikakulam. Later he said: The nation will forever remember Mr. Rajiv Gandhi’s achievements as he brought laurels to the country with his vision and dynamic leadership between 1984 and 1989.”

Speaking to media, he said that Mr. Rajiv continues to live in the hearts of people though he was assassinated in Sriperumbudur of Tamil Nadu on May 21, 1.991.
