Ram Mandir donation scam: Champat Rai, Anil Mishra resign amid probe

Following a stern stance by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and recommendations in the preliminary report of a Special Investigation Team, two members of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, have resigned from their posts. An investigation into the temple donation theft case led to the registration of the first First Information Report. The inquiry revealed that the donation theft occurred under the oversight of these officials, leading to recommendations for action. A driver associated with one of the officials has already been arrested as part of the investigation, as opposition parties demand further action regarding the case.
