The Ram Navami procession will be taken out in Kalaburagi city on Thursday (March 26), as part of the annual festival celebrations, said Ram Navami Utsav Samiti president Raju Bhavani on Tuesday (March 24).

Addressing a press conference, Mr Raju said the procession featuring a 15-foot idol of Lord Rama will start from Nagareshwar School in Nehru Gunj and pass through the Super Market before reaching Jagat Circle. He said the procession will include a tableau depicting Ugra Narasimha behind the idol of Lord Rama, along with folk art troupes and traditional dance performances.

Shadakshari Brahma Renuka Veer Gangadhar Hiremath of the Veerabhadreshwara temple, Humnabad, will be the chief guest.

He added that the Samiti holds monthly meetings in different localities to create awareness on the ideals of Lord Rama and promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, encouraging them to spend time in constructive activities, libraries, and places of worship, and focus on physical and mental well-being.
