Ranveer Singh visits RSS founder Hedgewar memorial, meets Mohan Bhagwat

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh visited the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur on Friday, where he paid his respects and interacted with senior RSS functionaries.

The actor arrived in Nagpur from Mumbai on a chartered flight around 4 pm. Soon after landing, he proceeded to the Hedgewar Smriti Mandir complex located in Reshimbagh, a key site associated with the RSS. During his visit, Singh offered tributes to Hedgewar and spent time in discussions with several senior members of the organisation.

Sources present at the memorial complex confirmed that Singh’s visit was brief but significant, as he engaged in conversations with RSS officials on various subjects. While the details of these discussions have not been disclosed, the visit has drawn attention given the actor’s high public profile.

Airport officials in Nagpur also confirmed Singh’s arrival and departure, noting that he returned to Mumbai later in the evening at around 8 pm.

In addition to visiting the memorial, Singh is reported to have met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat during his time in Nagpur. Bhagwat, who was in the city at the time, is said to have held a meeting with the actor at the RSS headquarters. However, no official statement has been issued by the RSS regarding the meeting or its agenda.

The RSS has, however, confirmed Singh’s visit to the Smriti Bhavan at Reshimbagh. The purpose behind the actor’s visit remains unclear, though it comes shortly after developments related to his upcoming project “Dhurandhar.”

Singh’s visit to the RSS memorial and his interaction with top leadership have sparked curiosity in political and entertainment circles alike, with many awaiting further clarification on the nature of his engagement.
