Supreme Court refers Umar Khalid's bail matter in Delhi riots case to a larger bench, as Delhi High Court grants him three-day interim bail to visit his ailing mother.

In a significant development in the Delhi riots conspiracy case, the Supreme Court on Friday agreed to reconsider the order denying bail to jailed activist Umar Khalid, referring the matter to a larger bench.
This comes the same day when the Delhi High Court granted a three-day interim bail to the former JNU student to allow him to meet his ailing mother, who is undergoing surgery.
