Member of A.P. State Commission for Scheduled Castes Ravada Seetharam on Thursday asked managements of all Universities to follow Rule of Reservation with letter and spirit in taking up recruitment drive.

He visited Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT), Etcherla campus and inquired about the appointment of SC candidates for teaching and non teaching posts as per Rule of Reservation which mandated allocation of 15% posts for SCs.

The University Director M. Giridhar said that the University had recently appointed SC candidates for top posts also as part of implementing reservation policy of the government. He assured to implement all rules in appointment of faculty members very soon.

Mr. Seetharam requested him to follow the rules in appointment of persons in outsourcing method also.
