Popular south actor Arjun Sarja's directorial drama movie 'Seetha Payanam' hit the big screens on February 14 this year. According to the latest updates, the family drama is now gearing up for the OTT release.

Confirming the OTT release, Sun NXT shared a post highlighting the film’s emotional journey.The post read, “One journey, many emotions, and unforgettable moments. Along with directing the film, Arjun Sarja has also written the story and screenplay and he plays a key role on screen as well.The film stars Aishwarya Arjun in the lead role, alongside Niranjan Sudhindra and the supporting cast includes Sathyaraj, Dhruva Sarja, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

Story about father-daughter relationship

'Seetha Payanam' follows the journey of Seetha who is played by Aishwarya Arjun. Seetha is raised by her loving father Rajendra Prasad, portrayed by Sathyaraj.

Her life takes a turn when she travels from Vizag to Hyderabad for work and meets Abhi, played by Niranjan Sudhindra.

The film received a mixed response during its theatrical run. Our exclusive ETimes review noted that the film’s biggest challenge lies in its execution. Our review said that although the movie had a good concept director Arjun Sarja struggles to show the emotional connection of the story into the screenplay.The review says, "The narrative at times feels uneven and the emotional beats fail to resonate as strongly as intended.
