A video of Siya Goyal making a middle finger gesture went viral on social media, sparking outrage online over her behaviour.

After Ketan Agarwal murder accused Siya Goyal’s middle finger gesture to journalists went viral, her father Praveen Goyal claimed that she had injured her finger while entering the police vehicle.

Siya Goyal was taken to her residence in Pune’s Market Yard area by Pune Rural Police on Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation. After the search and evidence-gathering exercise concluded, Goyal showed the middle finger at journalists waiting outside the premises.

Videos of her gesture went viral on social media, sparking fresh outrage, with many questioning her behaviour and commenting on the broader justice system.

Responding to the outrage, Siya’s father Praveen claimed that she was not making an obscene gesture, but had injured her finger while entering the police vehicle. He said the car door slammed into her hand as she was entering the vehicle, injuring her finger.
