Srirangapatna gears up for grand dasara celebrations from september 25

MANDYA: The historic town of Srirangapatna is gearing up to celebrate Dasara in a grand manner from September 25. The official logo for the four-day festivities was released by Mandya district in-charge minister N.

Cheluvarayaswamy at the Deputy Commissioner's office here on Friday.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said this year’s celebrations would be inaugurated by noted film director and actor T.S. Nagabharana. He assured that all events will be conducted in an organised manner and preparations are already in full swing.Local representatives and officials, including Srirangapatna MLA Ramesh Babu Bandisiddegowda, Mandya MLA P. Ravikumar, Deputy Commissioner Kumara, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer K.R. Nandini, and Additional Deputy Commissioner B.C. Shivanandamurthy, were also present. The Srirangapatna Dasara, known for blending tradition with cultural vibrancy, is expected to draw large crowds this year.
