The newly launched reality show The 50 is keeping audiences glued to their TV screens with intense tasks and ugly fights. The show features celebrities from different walks of the entertainment industry.
From social media influencers and YouTubers to television actors and reality stars, The 50 has a unique mix of contestants. While a few contestants are creating unnecessary drama and fake fights to survive on the show, Karan Patel has made it clear that he does not want to indulge in such disputes.In the latest episode, when co-player Siddharth Bharadwaj praised Karan Patel for showing great maturity in the show, the Yeh Hai Mohhabatein actor shared that he is doing it for his daughter.Karan shared, "Dude I'm going with just one point, tomorrow if my daughter happens to watch the show, what is she going to think? She is six years old. If she has to go to school and if people tell her, we saw your father fighting on camera, what is she going to think? So, I think about the long game now. Pehle toh akele the, ab I have a family now, reputation is something that I have to think about."Siddarth mentioned that fatherhood has changed him as a person.
During the episode, the players were given a task where they had to mention names of players who are missing in the show. Rajat added Karan Patel’s name, saying he has been less visible in the game. Shrutika supports his stand but Prince defends Karan. Faisu steps in and says it is their opinion and Karan can respond himself. Karan during his defense says that nobody on 'The 50' is ready to hear about others opinions and he has no problem with Prince speaking on his behalf.
Later, Prince asks Karan to speak up and that he wants to see the earlier version of Karan. However, the actor dismisses the issue. He says they are above such debates and that some people are not known beyond Nepal.
