Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal murder case: Siya's brother claims that he did not inform their parents about Chetan as she "swore of being happy with the wedding".

Ketan was allegedly pushed to his death from Lohagad Fort on June 18 by Siya and Chetan.
As probe continues into the murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal (26), brother of prime accused Siya Goyal has claimed that she was confused but did not want to stay with Chetan Chaudhary.
Ketan was allegedly pushed to his death from Lohagad Fort on June 18 by Siya and Chetan. Initially, Siya claimed that Ketan had accidentally slipped while taking photographs. However, police later said it was a well-planned conspiracy and arrested both Siya and Chetan.
On Monday, Siya and alleged lover Chetan were sent to police custody till Friday.
Meanwhile, Siya’s brother in an interview with NewsDotz has claimed that he did not inform their parents about Chetan as she “swore of being happy with the wedding with Ketan".
“I did not inform about Siya’s supposed relation with Chetan as she had told me she did not want to be with Chetan and only with Ketan. She swore on my behalf that she was not even talking to Chetan and she was happy with Ketan," he said. “They were only friends…It was a state of confusion. Had she said that she wanted to be with Chetan I would have told my parents."
Recalling the wedding preparations, Sahil said: “She used to plan for the pre-wedding shoot with Ketan, photographers. For two-three hours, she used to have video calls planning for songs and dances."
Was The Murder Plot Hatched During Earlier Fort Visit?
According to police, Siya had first visited Lohagad Fort with Ketan on May 31. Investigators believe that it was during that trip that she may have conceived the idea of killing him and passing it off as an accident. Police have alleged that Siya and Chetan eventually executed the plan during another visit to the fort on June 18.
Further, the probe has also revealed that Chetan allegedly remained disconnected from the internet for nearly 10-hour period the day Agarwal was killed to evade digital surveillance.
The 26-year-old and Siya had gotten engaged in February. They were scheduled to get married in November at a palace in Udaipur but Siya reportedly did not want to marry him. Their plan for a pre-wedding photoshoot in Bali was cancelled after Siya allegedly stole Ketan’s passport.
