With the United States and Iran reaching a tentative framework peace deal, independent analysts and leaked intelligence reports indicate that the remaining three objectives have not been fully met.

Status of the 4 stated objectives

The four core objectives defined at the beginning of the conflict have seen varying levels of success:

1. Annihilating the Iranian Navy: Accomplished

Both U.S. officials and external military analysts confirm that Iran’s conventional naval forces and security shipping infrastructure were decimated and effectively eliminated during the campaign.

2. Destroying Ballistic Missile Stocks and Production: Partially Achieved / Disputed

While the White House claims a significant portion of Iran’s defense industrial base and missile launchers were knocked out, leaked intelligence assessments indicate that Iran managed to retain roughly half of its pre-war missile arsenal.
