Vikram Prabhu’s new film will chornicle the journey of gold

After Sirai, Vikram Prabhu will next be seen in a yet-to-be-titled film that chronicles the journey of gold. Its director, debutant Siddharth, tells us, “The film is about gold, and while we have seen movies on gold smuggling, mining, or scams till now, this film isn’t about any of that.

”On casting Vikram Prabhu, he says, “He has been acting in content-oriented subjects. He has star value and is also a director’s actor. And I needed someone ith these qualities for this role.” Taling about the role, the filmmaker adds, “He plays a relatable character who we can find everywhere around us. There will be a coolness to his character.”He insists that the film doesn’t belong to a single genre. “It’s an action thriller, but will also have a blend of genres, like comedy, dark humour and romance.”After Sathriyan (2017), composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing for a Vikram Prabhu-starrer with this film. “This will be a musical film. I’m not talking about songs or their placement, but the soundscape of the film. Yuvan sir and I are planning to try out something different with the sound,” signs off Siddharth.
