Breaking his silence a day after being slapped and assaulted during a protest in Jaipur, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday attributed the incident to the growing "unemployment crisis" in the country. Speaking to reporters, Dipke, who rose to fame after starting the satirical new outfit last month, said such actions were a reflection of the lack of job opportunities faced by the youth.

"What happened in Jaipur was the result of rising unemployment. If the person had a good job, he wouldn't have resorted to such actions," Dipke said.
