Trump posts cryptic text as JD Vance leads US delegation to Pakistan for talks with Iran, expressing cautious optimism and following Trumps negotiation guidelines.

US President Donald Trump on Friday shared a cryptic post hours ahead of a meeting between Vice President JD Vance-led team and Iranian delegation in Pakistan.

“World’s most powerful reset," Trump’s social media post read.

JD Vance along with a high-level American delegation left for Pakistan on Friday for talks aimed at initiating peace talks with Iran, expressing measured optimism ahead of a potentially defining diplomatic moment.

“We’re looking forward to the negotiation. I think it’s going to be positive," Vance said ahead of the departure. “Trump gave us some pretty clear guidelines on negotiations."

On Thursday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the delegation included President Trump’s “right-hand man", Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner.

As per the reports, Iran is said to prefer Vance to lead negotiations on behalf of the US, accusing Witkoff and Kushner of misrepresenting Tehran’s positions. Vance is also one of the only administration officials who is reported to have opposed launching the war against Iran.
