Winnipeg coach expresses disappointment after fans opposed the team’s ongoing struggles this season

Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel has voiced strong disappointment over the heavy presence of Montreal Canadiens fans at the Canada Life Center, as the team suffered a crushing 5-1 defeat.

"Yeah, that's pretty disappointing. That's probably the worst that I've seen it in my 4 years back here tonight. That was really disappointing," Arniel said when asked about playing in front of so many Habs supporters.

He further added, “Yeah, we’re used to it,” Sanderson said after a 6-5 loss to Montreal on Jan. 17. “Playing an away game at home, it happens quite often. It is what it is.” (source: TSN)The loss has indeed shaken the team to the core, especially with the Habs-heavy atmosphere that took over the building. Meanwhile, the Montreal Canadiens currently stands second in the Atlantic Division, four points back of the Tampa Bay Lightning with three more games played.
