‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ February 5 written update: Madhav and Kaveri express anger with Armaan

The latest episode starts with the Poddar family talking over breakfast. While Armaan orders the chef to put two types of fruits in Maira’s tiffin box, Manisha says that she has ordered high-protein food for herself.

She refuses Manoj when he asks her to have some breakfast. Manisha also makes a point of hiring a personal trainer for herself to show off her newfound wealth. Kajal complains to Armaan about Manisha’s behaviour; however, he simply tells her to leave it alone.

Armaan has flashbacks of Abhira

Meanwhile, Armaan gets Maira ready for her first day back to school. He scolds her for not getting ready on time and tells her to hurry up, as he does not want her to be late.

Vidya watches over all this and fondly recalls how Maira was once a little girl and is now a teenager going back to high school. This causes Armaan to recall and have flashbacks of him and Maira spending time with Abhira. As Maira gets ready, Kajal, Vidya, and Manisha all dote on her and help her get ready for school. Maira asks Madahav for her school bag, while Armaan asks for a pen. Madhav ignores Armaan and gets Maira’s bag only, leaving him a bit worried.

Kaveri ignores Armaan

Armaan approaches Kaveri after Maira asks her to check up on her as she leaves for school. As Kaveri does a headstand, Armaan praises her and tells her that he wants to learn all of these things from her. Kaveri, however, ignores him and continues to work on her exercises. Armaan spots toffees nearby on a table and asks Kaveri if he wants to have one. Kaveri tells him that he can do what he pleases as the box is open on the table.

She also comments about how she cannot fake a smile and her emotions for him.

Abhira remains worried about Mukti’s education

The scene shifts to Abhira working in her garage and thinking about what will happen with Mukti. She wonders about what Radhe Shyam told her, injuring her hand in the process as she is lost in thought. Later on, she wonders about how she is going to ensure that Mukti goes to her dream school as she hands out all of the workers’ salaries. In order to earn as much money as possible, Abhira decides to keep the garage open 24/7.

She, however, tells all of her employees that they are not obligated to follow her rules. They all help her and agree with her, citing and recalling all of the times that she went out of her way to help them in their times of need.

Madhav taunts Armaan about Abhira

At the Poddar mansion, as Armaan sits down to get breakfast, he accidentally breaks a glass of water. Madhav, who watches the scene unfold, calls out Armaan for only knowing how to break things apart.

He lists out that Armaan breaks things, trusts, and relationships, hinting at Abhira’s departure from the Poddar house. The next episode’s preview shows Abhira refusing to shut down her shop for redevelopment. Mittal tells all of this to Armaan, who is leading the case about the redevelopment property. Without knowing that it is Abhira, Armaan determines that he will personally talk to the woman and make her shut down her shop, no matter what.
