Lucknow: Union ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw and Bhupender Yadav on Saturday underlined UP’s rapid industrial and technological push, crediting chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision for transforming the state into a major manufacturing hub.Addressing the foundation stone laying of an electronics manufacturing unit in Gautambudhnagar, Union minister for railways, electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw said, “CM Yogi Adityanath has created a vision that has brought large-scale electronics manufacturing to Jewar.” He added that products worth Rs40,000 crore, earlier imported, would now be made domestically, with Jewar emerging as a key electronics hub after semiconductors.Vaishnaw also highlighted upcoming connectivity gains, saying the proposed bullet train corridor approved by PM

will link Delhi to Siliguri via Lucknow, Varanasi and Patna. “Delhi to Lucknow travel time will come down to two hours ten minutes, while Jewar to Lucknow will take just one hour forty minutes, significantly boosting industrial growth,” he said.Union environment minister Bhupender Yadav said the ceremony reflects UP’s shift from “challenges to opportunities”, adding that under Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a trusted manufacturing destination, with UP at its core.
Korea Circuits CEO, Yang Ho Cho thanked the Centre and UP, calling the project a result of “strong leadership and support”. He described the Korea Circuits–Amber partnership as a blend of South Korea’s technology and India’s manufacturing strength, signalling growing global confidence in UP’s investment climate.
