Youth allegedly stabbed to death at Palluruthy

A 31-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by three persons at Karma Lane in Palluruthy, Ernakulam, on Saturday night (May 30). The deceased was identified as Shijoy, son of Vinod and a native of Palluruthy.

One of the accused, Jenson, was arrested on Sunday (May 31) by the Palluruthy police in connection with the incident, while two others, also from Palluruthy, were in police custody. The accused, all natives of Palluruthy, are painting workers.

According to the police, an altercation over a modified bike owned by Jenson led to the murder. The police are investigating whether the accused had any prior rivalry with Shijoy.
