Jr NTR's upcoming film with 'KGF' director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled 'Dragon,' is set for a major action schedule in Tunisia, Africa, starting late November. Before this, a Hyderabad shoot is planned. The film's script underwent revisions to meet Jr NTR's high standards, with both actor and director collaborating closely on the project.

Jr NTR is currently working with 'KGF' and Salaar director Prashanth Neel on a film tentatively titled 'Dragon.' The film is currently in production, and the latest reports suggest the makers are planning to take the film's action to Africa.

Africa schedule planned in Tunisia

According to a report by 123Telugu, the team is preparing for a huge overseas schedule in Tunisia, Africa, which will begin towards the end of November. Director Prashanth Neel and his technical crew are expected to fly to Tunisia on October 27 to conduct a week-long location recce. This schedule is expected to feature some of the film's key action sequences, designed to match the scale and intensity that Neel's films are known for.

Hyderabad schedule before overseas shoot

Additionally, before heading to Africa, the 'RRR' actor will reportedly participate in a brief but important shooting schedule in Hyderabad, where some crucial scenes are being planned.For the unversed, the primary shooting of the film began in March 2025.This movie marks Jr NTR's first collaboration with Prashanth Neel. It also features 'Kantara: Chapter 1' actress Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead.

Script overhaul and creative decisions

The film has been in the news after Jr. NTR reportedly temporarily halted the shooting to request a major overhaul of the script and some key sequences. As per a Bollywood Hungama report, this proactive decision comes after Jr NTR was reportedly not fully satisfied with the footage shot so far and wants the content to better match his high standards and audience expectations, especially following the lukewarm response to his recent film 'War 2.
