Three members of a family in Faridabad died under suspicious circumstances. Originally from Bihar, they worked as labourers and were found dead by morning after sleeping at home

The deceased were identified as Ramesh, his wife Mamta, and their five-year-old son Chotu.

In Faridabad, Haryana, three members of a single family, husband, wife, and their five-year-old son, were found dead under suspicious circumstances. The incident occurred in the Sarurpur area of the city.

Family Members Found Dead While Sleeping

Four family members, including the husband, wife, son, and the husband’s brother, were sleeping together in the house. By morning, three of them were discovered dead. The police were informed immediately, arrived at the scene, and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

Police reported finding a coal stove in the house. However, the exact cause of death will only be determined after the post-mortem report.

Details About The Family

The deceased were identified as Ramesh, his wife Mamta, and their five-year-old son Chotu. Also living in the house was Ramesh’s brother. According to the landlord, all three adults worked as labourers and had rented the house two months ago. The family originally hailed from Bihar.

The landlord, Parshuram, said he received a call from Ramesh’s brother, who reported, “Brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are not waking up, please come home quickly." On reaching the house, Parshuram saw the three lying dead on the floor.

Suspicious Details About Food

According to the landlord, Ramesh’s brother mentioned that Mamta had prepared halwa the previous night, which the family had eaten. When he tried to wake his brother and sister-in-law around 5 am, they did not respond. He reportedly ate some halwa again before going back to sleep.

Parshuram observed blood coming from Ramesh’s nose and mouth, while foam was coming from the mouths of the others. He immediately alerted the police.

Police arrived at the scene, collected the bodies, and sent them to the mortuary at Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
