Recently, an incident in Madurai has been gaining traction across social media platforms as during the screening of ‘Jana Nayagan’ trailer at Ritzy Cinemas, some Vijay fans were seen tearing down posters of ‘Parasakhti’ placed outside the theatres. Video of the same are seen on the internet. In a clip shared by shared by a handle @madraspaiyanda, fans can be seen ripping and throwing the poster onto the ground.For the unversed, ‘Jana Nayagan’ will face a box office clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Parasakthi’, which is releasing just a day later on January 10, 2026. This close release date seems not to have gone down well with a section of Vijay’s fans.
