Apple just made it easier to access its pro-grade creative tools. The company has announced Creator Studio, a subscription that bundles six professional apps for video editing, music production, and image design into one monthly plan.

It goes live on January 28 at Rs 399 per month or Rs 3,999 per year. Students and educators pay even less—Rs 199 monthly. The package includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro across Mac and iPad. Mac users also get Motion, Compressor, and MainStage thrown in. There's premium content for Keynote, Pages, and Numbers as well, plus AI tools that work on-device.

Pixelmator Pro makes its iPad debut

The real headline here? Pixelmator Pro is finally coming to iPad.

Apple bought the popular image editor back in late 2024, and this is the first big move since. The iPad version has been built fresh with touch controls and Apple Pencil support baked in.Final Cut Pro picks up some genuinely useful tricks. Transcript Search lets you type a phrase and jump straight to that moment in your footage—no more scrubbing through hours of interviews. Visual Search does something similar but for objects.

Looking for every shot with a red car? Just describe it. Beat Detection maps song structure onto your timeline automatically, which should make music video edits far less tedious.

Logic Pro now has an AI Synth Player

Music creators get Synth Player, an AI tool that generates electronic keyboard and bass parts on the fly. It listens to your chord progressions and adapts in real time. Chord ID is handy too—record a melody, and it'll transcribe the chords for you.For those who prefer owning software, standalone purchases remain available on Mac. Final Cut Pro costs Rs 29,900, Logic Pro Rs 19,900. New Mac and iPad buyers get three months of Creator Studio free.
