Railways to run Pongal special train from Podanur to Chennai

COIMBATORE: Southern Railway will run a one-way special train from Podanur to Chennai Central for people who return to Chennai after the Pongal holidays. Train No. 06144 will leave Podanur at 7.40am on Jan 18 with stoppages at Tirupur at 8.28/8.30am, Erode at 9.20/9.25am and Salem at 10.17 /10.20am. Advance reservations for the above-mentioned special train will start at 8am on Jan 14.
