‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ January 10 written update: The Viranis reach Surat for the wedding

The latest episode of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ picks up as the Virani family heads off to Surat for the wedding processions. They stop at a nearby dhaba to rest and get some food for the rest of the way.

Chaos ensues at the dhaba

As Tulsi helps Gayatri go to the nearby washroom, Dev sneaks off and away from the family to catch a quick smoke break. Noina spots him, though instead of stopping him, she simply tells him that he can smoke. She, however, adds on that he should be responsible when it comes to such things and that he should not get addicted. Ritik spots the two of them and shouts at Noina for encouraging the behaviour. Mitali also intervenes; however, she starts taunting Ritik instead.

She starts commenting about how he is unable to handle the family business properly. From far off, Tulsi and Gayatri spot Ritik and Mitali fighting again. In order to break the fight, Tulsi calls Ritik over. Noina spots Tulsi and asks her if they can step away for a moment, as she wants to talk to her about something.

Noina and Tulsi’s conversation turns into chaos

The two step away from the crowd and go to a more secluded spot to talk. Noina thanks Tulsi for coming to Surat with them.

The two then continue to talk to each other; however, they start passing comments and taunting one another. Tulsi clarifies that she is no longer interested in Mihir and that she is not like her in this situation.Mihir comes from the other side with tea and samosas in his hand. Tulsi thinks that the food is for her, so she tells him that she does not want anything. However, Mihir hesitantly tells her that he got it for Noina, not her, making Tulsi leave.

Noina also tells Mihir that she does not want the samosas as they are too oily for her. Mihir laughs and jokes that since she does not like oily food this much, her personality matches the dry food she likes.

Tulsi and Mihir go to Surat in the same car

As the family preps to leave the dhaba, Mihir tells Noina that she should go to Gayatri and ride with her, and let Tulsi come with him. He tells her that since Surat is nearby, they should prepare in advance. Mihir and Tulsi drive to Surat in the same car; however, the two stay silent.

Mihir tries to make conversation, though Tulsi chooses to stay silent and not reply to him. She also tells him that even though they are traveling together and that she has agreed to go to Surat, it does not mean that she wishes to talk to him in any way.‘Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan’ starts playing on the radio as Tulsi and Mihir drive to Surat in silence. A flashback pops in their head as they remember that on the occasion of their 38th wedding anniversary, Mihir had sung this very song for Tulsi in front of everyone.

The same song plays in Gayatri’s car, and Shobha also remembers the same event. Noina, however, gets irritated because of the song and shuts the radio.

The Viranis reach Babaji’s home

All of the family members finally arrive at Babaji’s home in Surat. Mihir and Tulsi walk in, though they both stop in the verandah area to pray to the Tulsi plant that is potted there. Tulsi starts singing a mantra as all of the family members gather around, including Babaji. Everyone smiles while looking at Tulsi and hearing her sing.
