Man found dead under footbridge at Bhudevi Nagar railway station

A 67-year-old man was found dead under a footbridge at Bhudevi Nagar railway station on Saturday (January 3, 2026) afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Akula Ramamurthy, a resident of Rasoolpura in Secunderabad. His identity was confirmed through his Aadhaar card and mobile phone recovered from the spot.

Police said the family members of the deceased have been informed. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination and will be handed over to relatives after the formalities are completed.
