The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), responsible for conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 counselling for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admissions, has issued a revised schedule for Round 2 of counselling.
The updated notice is available on the official MCC website for undergraduate medical counselling at mcc.nic.in.
NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2: Revised dates
The revised counselling process will proceed as follows:

| Choice locking | September 14 (1:00 PM) to September 15 (8:00 AM) |
| Processing of seat allotment | September 15 to September 16, 2025 |
| Round 2 result declaration | September 17, 2025 |
| Reporting and joining at allotted institutes | September 18 to September 25, 2025 |
| Verification of joined candidates’ data by institutes | September 26 to September 27, 2025 |
Documents required for NEET UG counselling 2025
Candidates participating in NEET UG counselling must keep the following documents ready for the registration and admission process:
- NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2025 Scorecard
- Class 10 certificate and marksheet (for date of birth verification)
- Class 12 certificate and marksheet
- Valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card, Driving Licence, or Passport)
- Eight passport-size photographs
- Provisional allotment letter
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Persons with Disability (PwD) certificate (if applicable)
How to register for NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2
Candidates who have not registered earlier can still apply for Round 2 until today, September 14, 2025 (12:00 Noon). Here are the steps:
- Go to mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling
- Click on ‘New Registration’
- Fill in your NEET UG 2025 roll number, application number, date of birth, and security pin as asked.
- Fill in the registration form.
- Upload documents and pay the registration fee.
- After successful payment, download and print the registration slip for future reference.
Once registration is complete, candidates can move to the choice filling and choice locking steps as per the revised schedule.
