Mystery drama Phool Pishi O Edward takes shape with ensemble cast

Filmmakers Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee have announced their next project, Phool Pishi O Edward, marking a new chapter in their 25 years of long association with Bengali cinema. The film is conceived as a mystery drama that weaves emotion and intrigue through a character-driven narrative.Phool Pishi O Edward features an ensemble cast that includes Sohini Sengupta, Arjun Chakraborty, Anamika Saha, Raima Sen, Saheb Chattopadhyay, Rajatava Dutta, Ananya Chatterjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Shyamoupti Mudly, Rishav Basu and Soumya Mukherjee, all playing key roles in the story.The music of the film brings together composer Joy Sarkar and lyricist Srijato Bandyopadhyay, a collaboration expected to add emotional texture to the narrative.Speaking about the film, Roy and Mukherjee said that the project reflects the kind of cinema they continue to pursue—stories rooted in layered writing and strong characters.
