While talking to People about the hit OTT series, Noah Schnapp ended up revealing a crucial piece of information. Talking about the series finale, ‘The Rightside Up’, the actor revealed that one of the emotional scenes between Mike and his character Will was something he got the Duffer Brothers to include in the script. He referred to his coming-out scene in episode 7, and cited that a lot of things were left “unsaid” between the main characters. “I did actually speak to the Duffers, and they included a scene in the finale that wasn't originally there to kind of close that story properly,” he further explained.The scene he is talking about refers to Mike and Will’s best friends' scene as the gang is climbing up the tower to go into the Mind Flayer’s lair.

Schnapp further shared that the Duffer Brothers were always open to suggestions. “If something doesn't work, or if something feels not right, you can speak to them, and they will work with you,” Schnapp further quipped.

In the final episode, as the gang carries out ‘Operation Beanstalk’, Mike and Will share a moment as they stop for a break while climbing the tower. Mike is seen apologizing to Will for everything he did over the past few years.
