Sebi cracks whip, bans 13 entities

Mumbai: Sebi has banned 13 entities from the market for between one and three years, and also put a combined monetary penalty of nearly Rs 1.1 crore for front running trades of three large entities.

In Dec 2024, six entities, related to these 13 had settled their case with Sebi after paying nearly Rs 5.5 crore.
