Filmmaker Priyadarshan and veteran actor Lissy, who was considered one most celebrated power couples but their married was ended after 26 years , but recently they both seen hand in hand at the wedding of legendary director Sibi Malayil’s son, Joe, creating a touching moment that has now gone viral.

The viral moment that caught attention

Photos and videos from the wedding quickly spread across social media. In one clip, Sibi Malayil is seen posing cheerfully with Priyadarshan and Lissy, his arms placed around their shoulders. Another video captured the two greeting guests and sharing light moments. As they exited the stage after meeting the newlyweds, Lissy was seen holding Priyadarshan’s hand, helping him step down. They even shared a laugh while walking away.

Marriage, separation, and children

They married on December 13, 1990, after six years of relationship. But after 26 years, in 2014 they file for divorce, which was finalised in 2016. They share two children, son Siddharth and daughter Kalyani Priyadarshan, who was seen in superhero movie 'Lokha Chapter 1: Chandra'.

What Priyadarshan said about the divorce

In an earlier interview with Grihalakshmi, Priyadarshan openly spoke about the reason behind their separation. He told, “The only reason for the problem in my family was ego.

I was born and brought up in a conservative family, and in my mind, the model of a woman is my mother.”He further added, “My parents also loved Lissy more than my sister. All these years I was living in heaven, and now we are separated. But my house still bears the same name: Priyadarshan-Lissy. I know that, irrespective of whatever has happened, she still respects me. It was just a problem of ego.”
